Terms and condition for participation in the "Yes to Work" program
The "Yes to Work" program is a two-week program that consists of the following stages:
The first stage:
Evaluating the participants and awareness sessions on the Yes to Work program, in order to introduce the program and the workshops offered to new participants at ACTVET system.
The second phase
Part-time job in selected shops for all participants for a period of two weeks
Conditions of participation
The trainees participating in the "Yes to Work" program must fully comply with the conditions listed in this document:

The approval and signature of the student’s guardian for the participation of his son / daughter after being fully informed of the terms and conditions agreed for participation in the program.:

The trainee must provide his/her own transportation during all stages of the program

The trainee must follow to the behaviors and ethics of professional work, as required by the company in which the training program is applied.

The trainee must follow confidentiality regarding any of the information of the company in which the training is held, if it is perused, either by mistake or due to the nature of the work assigned to him/her.

The trainee must acknowledge that all materials, documents, or information provided by the company in which he/she works for the purpose of performing his job duties are the intellectual property of the company, and that any materials, information or tasks that the trainee accomplishes during the performance of the training period are the property of the company that gave him/her the opportunity to train and he/she is not entitled to claim ownership of it at any time, not during his/her performance of the training or even after it has ended.

The trainee should pay attention to his/her general appearance and follow the instructions of uniform requirement for the job, which is determined by the company in which the training program is implemented.

The trainee must wear the program’s identification card (ID Card) all the time during working hours.

using mobile phones is not allowed during working hours for any reason.

The trainee must show good morals and show respect when expressing opinion through social media channels and during dealing with the work team, academic staff, administrators and supervisors of the program.

In the event that the trainee's misuse of social media is proven in a way that affects the reputation of the program, showing a counter-reality in any way, or re-using unethically text, images and media, the participant is excluded from the program and this decision is final and may not be appealed.

The trainee must follow the conditions, regulations and laws required by the company in which he will work, and in the event of a violation, a notice will be sent the first time, provided that he is excluded from the program in the event of a recurrence of any of the violations or abuses that violate the conditions.

The trainee must be present at the workplace according to his/her timetable in the morning or evening, according to the nature of the trainee’s work and the directives of the company with which he/she will work, provided that 5 work hours are completed per day, and the half hour rest period is not counted within the working hours.

Attention notes will be sent to the trainee and his/her guardian will be notified in the event of non-compliance with the official working hours. If the absence is repeated more than once, the trainee will be excluded from the program and this decision is final and cannot be appealed.

The trainee must complete at least 9 working days, in order to fulfill the conditions required for the program, otherwise the trainee is considered not entitled to the participation certificate.

The trainee is not allowed to be absent from work without a medical excuse documented by the approved health authorities and the trainee is required to notify his/her supervisor.

In the event that the trainee’s repeated absence is proven without a medical excuse documented by the approved health authorities and for more than one working day within the program’s period, the trainee will be automatically excluded from the program and will not be entitled to receive a certificate of participation for the period spent.

The Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training has the right to exclude any trainee from the program in the event of noticing any inappropriate behavior by the trainee towards his colleagues or company which he/she will work. This decision is considered final and may not be appealed.
The uniform:
The trainees must adhere to the uniform specified by the institution granting the training opportunity, in proportion to the nature of the profession that has been assigned to the trainee, in contrast to this, and in the event that the body does not oblige the trainee to any specific uniform, he must adhere to the UAE national dress, taking into account the following differences for males and females:
Males

All students must wear the national dress, which consists of kandora and ghutra.

Keeping hair short, avoiding strange haircuts and extending hair below shoulder level.
Females

Female trainees must wear the national dress, the loose-fitting black abaya and the shayla that is completely covered with hair, provided that the abaya is closed and does not reveal the clothes underneath.

Wearing obvious tattoos or piercings other than the ears are totally unacceptable

The appearance of piercing of the body except for the area of the ear is totally unacceptable.

Low or mid-heeled shoes are allowed,and high-heeled shoes are avoided.

Procedures to be followed in case of non-compliance with the terms and conditions:

Investigating the matter and inferring constants and witnesses.

Issuing a notice to the student and informing his guardian.

Exclusion of the trainee from the program.

The student is excluded permanently and will not allowed to participate in the program.

The decision is final and cannot be appealed.
